 You can become a non-smoker today! Many
who have not been successful with quitting smoking or tobacco in the
past, and have truly had a desire to become a non-smoker, have turned
to hypnosis as a safe and reliable alternative. In fact, after seeing
how easy it is to quit smoking using hypnosis, most wonder why they
didn’t chose that first!
Many
medications and “stop smoking” products on the market today only help
with the physical addiction to tobacco. Unfortunately, that leaves the
smoker to cope with the emotional and habitual addiction that many feel
when choosing to let go of this unwanted habit. Whether
you have been a ½ pack per day smoker for a few months, or a 2+ pack
per day smoker for 30 years, hypnosis can help. By breaking the
connection between smoking and comfort (e.g. boredom, stress, anger,
etc.) and breaking the connection between smoking and other activities,
such as drinking alcohol or after a meal, the urge to smoke is greatly
diminished. What
about withdrawal symptoms, you may ask? Well, if you’ve ever been to a
pool or open body of water and seen parents arguing with their children
to get them out of the freezing cold water, you’ve seen the power of
the subconscious mind at hard work. As adults we wonder, how is it that
their lips are turning blue and teeth chattering, and yet they still
want to remain in the cold water? Well, the subconscious mind has the
capability of bypassing, or simply ignoring, any physical symptoms the
body may be feeling. Using the hypnotic state, it’s actually quite easy
to access this capability, and use it to avoid feelings of physical
withdrawal symptoms related to quitting smoking.
Next,
you may want to ask yourself this question, do you take a break to have
a cigarette, or do you have a cigarette as an excuse to

that you may be able to replace this unwanted habit with, such as
taking a walk or even just having a cool, refreshing glass of water.
Remember, you don’t need to be destructive yourself in order to take a
break, you've earned it, so why not do something good for yourself in
the process? Even
the fear of gaining weight can be alleviated through hypnosis. Because
the same brain center that is stimulated by smoking is
stimulated by sweets/carbs, your hypno-counselor will simply make a
suggestion that the subconscious mind will ignore and eradicate
substituting one behavior for another, and therefore avoid gaining any
unwanted weight.
Begin to reap the benefits associated with freedom from tobacco,
including a healthier lifestyle, feelings of energy and vitality, the
ability to breath easily, with greater levels of stamina. Your hair and
clothes can smell fresh and clean, and the money once squandered on
tobacco could now be available for things that bring you joy! |
