C.J. Cantrell received her education through numerous organizations including American Pacific University, Master’s Center and Institute of Hypnosis Sciences, and Bucks County Community College. With over 500 hours of curriculum, and countless hours of individual and practical studies, she is one of the best trained and most well rounded in her field.
She is currently a member of one of the most well respected organizations in the nation, The National Guild of Hypnotists. A not-for-profit, educational corporation in the State of New Hampshire, founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1951, the Guild is a professional organization comprised of dedicated individuals committed to advancing the field of hypnotism. This unique organization continues to encourage an eclectic exchange of ideas, fellowship, mutual trust and cooperation among members - while promoting and protecting the art, science and philosophy of hypnotism.

Hypnosis counseling can be a valuable tool in initiating lasting changes for your life. However, some unscrupulous “schools” today offer “hypnosis certification” in as little as one weekend, while others, even some of the more credible organizations, offer certifications after just 2 semesters (100 hours). I began my education and certification training with a 500 hour course through a state accredited college* in addition to training from other organizations and my own personal studies. Furthermore, it is required by many of the top hypnosis organizations to take a minimum of 15 hours of continued education each year to maintain membership.
I do not make outrageous claims, and I will never profess that hypnosis is a magic bullet. Its effectiveness is a combination of positive suggestion, and each individual’s own determination to achieve their goal. My clients know me to be very strait forward, yet compassionate and understanding. The best interest of my clients is always my primary concern. No client will ever receive a “one-size-fits-all” scripted session.
